I am WAY excited for summer, I think it's because this time of year is so busy with all the end of the year rig-a-ma-roll. But man I am always so happy to get my kids all to my self during the summer so we can exhale a bit, especially from all this end of the year craziness. Are you guys totally feeling all the hustle and bustle also?
This book called "Hooray For Diffendoofer Day" by Dr. Seuss (its a book he started to write before he passed) it's one amazing book!! Its about a teacher that cultivates creativity and inspires individual thinking. It really is a must have for any amazing teachers out there! I ordered this book for Teacher Appreciation week. Guess what...It didn't come in time, go figure, so I had to whip up something else. Of course it did come a day after I needed it. Oh well, it will make a great end of the year gift. The book really is a must have for any fabulous teacher or classroom library. I really think it would also be good to read to kids before the SOL testing as a bedtime story. The book talks about a really important test the all students must take. Really cute read, total must have!
Here is the link to the download I made for Build It Sew It Love It followers, it only takes a minute over on the side bar, Thanks.

ReplyDeleteGREAT IDEA! We just had our school book fair and the boys had fun giving their teachers books for the classroom. Hari was funny and asked why we were giving each teacher two books...and my reply was that they were 2 for 1...LOL, Hari thought we should have kept the other book, but when States are cutting budgets and teachers, I totally believe in helping teachers out!
